Mr Vedi is a superb surgeon and put me at ease immediately My 2 surgeries on knee and hip have been a great success and the before and after care from the whole team of specialists was extremely well organised and informative. Mr Vedi gave me options to consider, and results from MRI and X-Rays were explained which helped me to understand the need for replacing the knee and hip. I would recommend Mr Vedi to anyone requiring a good orthopedic surgeon.

In early September 2023 I had a total right hip replacement as a private patient which was undertaken by Mr Vedi. The whole process was well handled and I was treated with care and consideration by my surgeon and his excellent team. Follow up consultations were well handled and advice was given on my progress as necessary. The whole process was professionally handled by Mr Vedi and I was very impressed. In February 2024 I had a total left hip replacement as a NHS patient and again the whole process was handled very professionally by Mr Vedi and his team. The operation was again a complete success, but I did have a superficial infection in the wound which Mr Vedi handled promptly prescribing antibiotics. He followed up with checks on the wound to ensure I received the appropriate treatment and advice on how to treat the infection. All was successful and, again, I was grateful to my surgeon and his team for their excellent standard of care. All in all two successful procedures and I am now fully mobile and very happy with the end result. I would recommend Mr Vedi highly to any prospective hip replacement patients in terms of his skill, as well as his friendly but professional manner.

Osteoarthritis in both knees was beginning to affect day to day activities and my particular love of walking. Mr Vedi came recommended and from the first consultation I left knowing the options available to me. I tried injections initially but was warned they probably wouldn't be effective due to the advanced level of deterioration so I had full knee replacement surgery on the first knee in January and in June for the second. The care and aftercare has been amazing. Making appointments has been easy and I've always been treated with great respect. I know it'll still take several months before I can expect full recovery but I'd have no hesitation in recommending Mr Vedi. Do take note of his insistence that exercise plays a significant part of the recovery process and physio has certainly been beneficial.

I had Hip surgery 6th May 2024 and i cant speak highly enough of Mr Vikas Vedi with my pre op care and the the surgery itself I had underlying health issues that were all taken into account and all outcomes were discussed. Mr Vedi explained the whole after care process to recover which happened exactly as he explained I may now need to get my other hip replaced but from the experince i received from Mr Vedi i would not hesitate and would ask for his aailability as i trust him to look after my care again

I am 15 days post op today after my total knee replacement. I have been seeing Mr Vedi for a couple of years and he tried everything before the replacement. He is very informative, knowledgeable, professional and a good bed side manner. I always had 100% faith in Mr vedi and never worried about anything as his kind manner made me relax. I now have a lovely neat scar and my future is so much brighter with my new knee. Physio has started and am walking with one crutch outdoors and nothing indoors. Bravo Mr Vedi
